Apartment located on the 1st and last floor of a small residence. 10 minutes walk from the city center and 15 minutes walk from the beach.

The space

To make your stay as pleasant as possible and to avoid any inconvenience or misunderstanding, we invite you to read the advert to the end before booking. Thank you for your attention and understanding.

Welcome to your accommodation. "Argia" means "light" in Basque. I decided to name this property after the brightness of its interior.

If you choose to stay at Argia, you'll discover a charming 40 m2 one-bedroom apartment. The surface area does not include the mezzanine, as it is not possible to stand completely upright on it; it is simply a sleeping area for reading or sleeping.

One living room has a corner sofa for relaxing or converting into a double bed for 2 people. A WiFi connection is also available to keep you connected.

An open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, with a fridge with freezer compartment, a gas hob with 3 burners, a cooker hood, an oven, a microwave, a Senseo coffee machine, a kettle, a toaster, as well as crockery, pots and pans and a dishwasher.

The bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe for storing your clothes, and two reading lights to maximise your comfort. There are roller shutters on every window, as well as blinds on the Velux windows, so you can sleep in total darkness.
The shower room has a shower, heated towel rail and toilet.

A pretty, private outdoor balcony of 9 m2 is not overlooked, so you can enjoy lunch al fresco with up to 4 guests.

The neighborhood

The flat is located in the Chélitz / Saint-Martin district, close to the city centre, in a quiet street. The street is close to several shops and services, such as restaurants, shops, a pharmacy, etc. There is a mini-market in the immediate vicinity of the flat.

You can also take advantage of the Grande Plage, just a 15-minute walk away. In short, a pleasant area of Biarritz.

Getting around

If you're looking to get around Biarritz, here are a few options:

Free shuttle bus N11: This free shuttle bus serves the city centre and the Lighthouse. The stop is just 93 metres from your point of departure, making it very convenient. You can check timetables and stops on the Txik Txak website.
Taxi: Taxis are a quick and convenient way to get around Biarritz. Allow around 10 minutes to get to the SNCF station or airport. The fare for this distance is around 15 to 20 euros during the day.
Parking: If you prefer to drive, you can park your car on the street or nearby. It is advisable to check the road signs to avoid any parking offences.

For your check-in: you will be welcomed by a member of the Homies Holidays team between 4pm and 7pm. If you arrive after 7pm, a supplement of 30 euros will be charged. And 50 euros if you arrive after 9pm.

The apt. was very comfortable & clean - just as pictured. The communication with the host (a rental agency) was very good. They greeted us and got us settled, very helpful. We were traveling with 2 young kids, so we had a few challenges. The apartment was equipped with a crib, bedding, etc. which was helpful. The stairs up to the loft felt unsafe for young children. I was not comfortable with my 6 year sleeping up there alone - I didn’t want her falling down the stairs in the middle of the night. Our biggest challenge was the location was a bit far from town, the beach, etc. It was fine walking down, but challenging coming back as it is straight uphill (15-20 min walk). There’s a bus, but the schedule is tough - 30+ mins between buses, stops running back up the hill at 7:45pm. And there is not much in the direct area. We did get pizza from Dino’s one night which was great. During our stay the surrounding rentals were very loud, one night until 5am. Things to note with kids

The apartment is comfortable, for short stay. I stayed with my friend, we are both 60+. The bedroom upstairs is not suitable for anyone with any disability. It has a very steep stairs, and low ceiling. Would be dangerous in my opinion for small kids. My friend slept downstairs due to arthritic knees. You can walk to the centre of Biarritz in about 15mins, downhill all the way, . Steep uphill on the way back. Very nice friendly neighbours. We enjoyed our time in Biarritz.

Appartment in a great location. Easy walk into the centre. Parking in streets around the property not a problem. All was as advertised and as per photos. Lovely to have a balcony for extra space. The apartment was clean on arrival and plenty of cleaning products etc provided. Could do with a few more kitchen items (eg wine glasses) but sufficiently equipped for a short stay. Great communication with Julie, check in etc very straightforward. Thank you!

Appartement conforme aux photos et très bien situé (15min à pieds du centre). Très lumineux, il n’est cependant idéal que pour 4 personnes grand maximum. Il a manqué quelques équipements (couverts ; couette pour le canapé-lit). De plus, certaines choses disfonctionnaient, comme la machine à laver.

Déception en arrivant . Nombreux dysfonctionnements dans le logement. Appel à l’agence qui est intervenue dans les 24h pour remplacer certains éléments défectueux ou hors d’usage. Interlocuteur très courtois. Mais l’impression générale reste insatisfaisante. Impression d’avoir été trompés par l’annonce. Aucune nouvelle de la propriétaire après signalement des nombreux problèmes . Elle avait sans doute mieux à faire…. Je ne recommande pas ce logement .

Très bon accueil plein de petites attentions, et des hôtes qui restent a notre disposition. l'appartement est à 10 minutes du centre ville et est dans un quartier très calme avec un carrefour market a proximité. Il est très bien équipé et propre. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

L'appartement se situe à 25 min à pieds du centre de Biarritz. La rue devant est gratuite ce qui permet de s'y garer. L'appartement n'est pas très grand et la terrasse non plus. maxi 4 personnes. Vis à vis avec les voisins via la terrasse puisque les logements sont collés les uns aux autres. si vous dormez sur la mezzanine il vous faudra fermer tous les velux et rideaux electriques pour être dans le noir. attention aux grands... très peu de hauteur sous plafond. L'appartement dispose de tout le matériel nécessaire. Très bon accueil avec gateaux basques en arrivants.

Appartement tout à fait conforme à la description. Il est effectivement plus adapté pour 4 personnes mais sur un court séjour comme le nôtre, à 5, c'était très bien. Nous avons pu garer la voiture gratuitement sans problème et sommes allés à Biarritz centre à pied très rapidement. L'accueil a été très agréable et les conseils très appréciés.

Appartement très bien situé dans une rue au calme a 10 min à pied du centre. Service de navette gratuite a proximité. Appartement bien agencé, une belle chambre fermée avec placard , très pratique. Un second lit deux places sur la mezzanine qui sert de deuxième chambres. Pleins de petites attentions disponible a l'arrivée et quelques bonnes adresses sur quoi faire pendant le séjour. Très content du séjour.

Julies apartment was really lovely. it was so clean and well equipped we did not want for anything. its in a lovely tranquil neighbourhood so we slept really well and were not disturbed. its a short walk from town or there is a free shuttle bus practically on the doorstep that goes up and down . The apartment had everything we needed and the check in host William was really considerate and helpful and was available with help and advise 24/7 anybody who stays in Julies place would be happy and I would have no hesitation in recommending and would return myself if I was visiting Biarritz
